Designed for sustained performance in the field, the PEP-series utilizes a precision-engineered, fluid-filled glass thermobulb as its trigger element. PEP-Series Features

The PEP-series is manufactured to meet the highest industrial safety standards, offering a 20-year service life and precision thermal activation.

  • Uses a high-strength, fluid-filled glass bulb designed for superior axial compression. At the trigger temperature of 102°C (216°F), the fluid expands to shatter the bulb, instantly releasing the piston to its full-flow venting position.

  • PEP-352: Rated for a Nominal Working Pressure (NWP) of 350 bar (5,075 psi) with a 1⅛”-12 UNF neck thread.

    • PEP-522: Rated for a Nominal Working Pressure (NWP) of 520 bar (7,540 psi) with a 1½”-12 UNF neck thread.

  • Provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio (mass as low as 118g), reducing the load on cylinder manifolds while maintaining heavy-duty performance.

  • Engineered to maintain a leakage rate of ≤ 10 Ncc/hr, ensuring gas inventory is preserved during standard operations.

  • Fully operational in extreme environmental temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C.
